ACTIVES
TITANIUM DIOXIDE
Titanium dioxide acts as a physical sun blocking agent that works primarily by reflecting/absorbing ultraviolet light.
KAOLIN
The word "kaolin" is derived from the name of the place where it originated - the Kaoling Hill in the Kiangsi province in China. It is also known as "China clay" and has excellent absorbent qualities to draw out impurities and toxins and thereby clears the skin of excess oil, dirt, pollutions, and other waste materials.
ZINC OXIDE
An opaque, full-spectrum sunscreen used to give opacity_ to face powder and foundation to effectively block both UVA and UVB rays, this natural white mineral pigment also provides an effective anti-irritant and soothing moisture barrier to protect sensitive skin while helping to control excess oil and shine.
GLYCERIN
As retaining moisture is vital for keeping skin in its best condition, glycerin's excellent moisturizing properties help keep skin looking young and healthy. It also draws oxygen into the skin, which is beneficial for anti-aging as well.
HYDROGENATED POLYISOBUTENE
A non-irritating mineral oil substitute is an excellent emollient and moisturizer that helps to restore skin suppleness and prevent water loss. Often used for pigment dispersion in many cosmetic products, it is also a popular ingredient in sunscreens because it allows for SPF retention even after water exposure.
PPG-3 MYRISTYL ETHER
An emollient ester with extraordinary skin-smoothing and spreading properties, its excellent wetting properties help provide an even, smooth and protective application.
DIMETHICONE
Dimethicone adds a protective layer to thin or compromised skin and will help take over some of the normal functions of the skin barrier, such as preventing trans-dermal water loss. It is a good product to us in dry, hot climates.
